The car population in India is rising. According to the Government of India data website, India has 167 cars for every 1000 people in the year 2015. You will find complete details such as - features, technical specifications, safety features and price here for all the cars available in India. We have no bias against any manufacturer or car when we compiled these pages. Buying a car is a major investment. That is the reason we went to great lengths to prepare these information laden pages.

Mid segment Cars in India meant the grand old Ambassador not long ago. Now you have a clutch of cars competing in this mid segment - From Volkswagen Jetta - to the Japanese breed of Honda City, Toyota Corolla, Maruti SX4, Swift and the other German cars like Skoda - not to mention our Tata stable cars - Tigor.

It is not that we cover only sedans in this mid size car segment section. Several multi utility vehicles also fit into this section - like Toyota Innova and Mahendra Scorpio might also need space in this category.

To make a short list of all the available mid segment cars in India, we have chosen only one criteria - the price. So we will present all cars within the range of 4 lakh Rupees to 9 lakhs (for international visitors it is between 400,000 INR and 900,000 INR).
