Queensland Chennai

QueensLand amusement park was established in 2003. Spread over a large area of 70 acres, it is located on the Chennai - Bangalore Trunk road. It is located between Sriperumpudhur and Poonamalle. The well-planned layout and comfortable ambience attract plenty of visitors. There is ample parking facility. All buses plying towards Sriperumpudur are convenient for traveling to Queensland. There are AC buses too. The amusement park has rides for the whole family. The price of tickets is Rs. 350 for adults and Rs. 250 for children. Kids less than 2 feet are allowed free. Queensland is open on all days except Monday. The amusement park is open from 10 - 6.

The longest cable car is the main attraction here. This cable car covers a distance of 1.5 km in 30 minutes. There are nearly 80 twin compartments. The Swimming Pool and American Wave Pool are popular attractions here. If you choose to swim, get your own gear. Swimming suits are available for sale here though. There are swimming pools for men and women.


A Free Fall Tower with a seating capacity for 24 people is one of the tallest towers in South East Asia. When it goes to a height of 150 feet and comes down, the floating sensation is something to be experienced! This ride is intended for adults and grown-ups.


The ride on a Centrox provides a thrilling experience while rotating at a height of 30 feet. This 28- seater is well protected with a safety lock. There are other thrilling rides like Alpen Blitz, Himalayan Water Ride and other water slides. There is a very large boating area. High or low speed mechanized boats take you around a beautiful island. There are 51 rides here. Other attractions include Mirror House, Queen Land Fairy Train and Simulation Theater.
