VGP Golden Beach

Chennai city has many resorts and theme parks to entertain visitors. VGP, the pioneer in the city's theme parks celebrates its silver jubilee this year. Perhaps the only beach resort within Chennai city, VGP Beach Resort is located on the East Coast Road. Not very far away from the city, it is a short drive away. There are many fun rides at Universal Kingdom for children like super trooper, jumping frog, children's merry go round, super jet, giant wheel, break-dance, dragons, aero ship - the list is endless. Some of the premium rides include the spectacular Go-kart, Dashing Car and Water Chute. To add a cultural touch, regular cultural shows and folk and contemporary dances are conducted. The Jurassic Park and Aquarium are added attractions.


Among the 37 thrill rides, balloon race, dashing cars, bungee jumping and bumping boats enthrall children on the landscaped beachfront. Have fun watching people making futile attempts to make the legendary stone-faced guard laugh! Horse rides, water jets, ToraTora, Island Waterpark, Lover' Boat, Dragon's Belly keep children amused at VGP Golden Beach. There is also a unique Musical Fountain which is fun to watch when it moves to the beat of a computerized orchestra.


You can try out the multi-cuisine restaurant The Rain Forest. There is also a licensed permit room The Golden Bar. Guests staying at the resort can make use of the swimming pool located by the oceanfront. All residents can enter the VGP Universal Kingdom Amusement Complex with a free pass provided to them.


VGP Golden Beach Resort, a well-planned beach resort entertains its visitors with folk dances and ethnic food. There is an art centre, which sells handicrafts and articles made using seashells. An ideal beach for sunbathing, its nominal rates make VGP a successful theme park on the East Coast road.
